Calculations of Rankings
The rankings are a dynamic five (5) consecutive running tournament results. The total amount of games won are tallied. For example; player A wins 6-4, player A accumulates 6 games. All the games are added up for the total games won (Column C)
| Rankings wk of 10/9/04 | Gender | Advanced Players | Rankings wk of 9/25/04 |
"A"
Total ratings points |
"B"
% Wins |
Wins | Loses | Total matches |
"C"
Total Games won |
|
| 1 | (B) | Jelahni Robinson | 1 | 137.5 | 100% | 43 | - | 0 | 43 | 150.0 |
The % of wins (Column B) are the wins divided by total matches played.
Total ratings points (Column A) is the sum of 75% of the Total games won and 25% of the % wins.
i.e.;(0.75 X 150)+(0.25X100)= 137.5
The table of players are sorted in descending order of Total ratings points then sorted by % wins. The number one ranked player would be the player with the highest Total ratings points.
After five consecutive tournaments are missed the player will be removed from the rankings.
